Nashville – a 9 lb. 5-year-old male, was found already neutered and missing his family. Perhaps they moved, but no one claimed him. He became very depressed while at Pet-smart. He stopped eating & drinking and was losing weight… he went back to the shelter but still did not thrive. He does not do well in a cage! He has been fostered & has recovered. Nashville thrived in the foster home with 3 cats, one gentle dog and numerous children – he gets along with everyone! The family said he was the easiest cat they had ever cared for! He spends his day in his “space” sleeping on his blanket in the house or on the lanai. The foster family says Nashville is a gentle, sweet cat that doesn’t bite or scratch when handled. He’s a talker – friendly meows anytime he’s held, picked up or pet. He loves being held in a blanket and scratched – falls asleep like a baby! But not too long and will meow to be put down. He likes to play with toys & loves scratch boards. Nashville comes with supplies for his new home. He uses a LARGE litter box because he loves to dig and bury when he goes! A great companion for you, your cats & dogs. He has been eating well in his foster home! But he still needs to gain some weight! PLEASE RESCUE NASHVILLE- He Needs a home not a cage! He is going back to Petsmart from the foster’s house on July 22 but if you are interested in meeting him before that it can be arranged!
