Description

* There is a rehoming fee of $20 as I have not yet had a chance to have him vetted, I work during the week and cannot for the life of me find a clinic open on a Saturday with an available appointment that isn't 4 weeks out. I'd rather not make him wait for a home so I'm posting him today. The new owner must be financially capable of having him vetted and possess the necessary disposable income to comfortably provide veterinary care (including emergency care) as well as quality food. If I am able to have him vetted before he is picked up, his rehoming fee will increase to $80 (or less depending on the cost of the vet visit), paperwork will be provided. Male Approximately 12 weeks old Long haired orange tabby I caught this little guy in a relative's backyard with the intent of socializing him and finding him a good, permanent home. He is sweet and gentle, shy but very loving. Enjoys being petted and picked up. Purrs as soon as you touch him. Wonderful around other cats and dogs. He gets along well with our 14 year old male cat and 2 year old female cat as well as three slightly younger kittens I am also taking care of. Completely unafraid of dogs, I have two, a pit mix and a lab mix. Scared of men, will run from them but can be picked up and handled, he'll even start purring once he is caught. Easily the dumbest kitten I have ever had, I usually find myself with a stray litter every year or so and this one is definitely special. He occasionally gets lost in the house and does not have very good problem solving skills. He is going to be a large, beautiful cat. New owners must agree to provide him with a high moisture diet (as in mostly canned food or raw), unrestricted access to indoors, clean water, and vet care when needed. My adult cats are on raw and he seems to love what they are getting so those who would provide a raw diet will be strongly preferred. There will be an informal home inspection via pictures, nothing intrusive, just want to make sure he isn't going to end up in a trap house. Additionally, the new owner must agree to not have him declawed as it is an abhorrent practice and I strongly feel that if you must mutilate an animal to tolerate it in your home, you probably shouldn't keep that animal as a pet. I intend to evaluate potential adopters throughout the week, meetings/pick-up will be scheduled for next weekend. If you are interested in adopting him, or have any questions, please text me at (623) six9three-0two-two7. I can also take additional pictures.
