Funk/Rock bassist wanted

Looking for a bass player within 50 miles of venice fl. This is for an original “Rock” project. I would like a bass player that can sing and slap the bass like a funk player. I would like to incorporate that style into my “straight ahead” rock stuff for a “different” kind of sound. Someone that knows when to play slap funk and when to play straight to serve the song. I would like to record this music with all the musicians in the room playing at once… at least the drums, bass and Rhythm guitars. Also tracking gang vocals at the same time.… to a 1/8” 8 track reel to reel AND to a DAW. Creativity is most important as i would like to transform the music as it is, to something different. Think Power Station, Think Rush ( at times) with different vocal style ( i sound closer to Rod Stewart than I do Geddy) also, think Duran Duran but with distorted rock guitars, and more in the pocket, less complex groove.
