Need Help to Get to Work

Since November, I have been hospitalized 6 times, bedridden the last few months due to being severely ill. I finally got a diagnosis from an emergency surgery on the 4th of July. I'm finally feeling much better, however, I was unable to work while sick (used all my savings to get by). At present, I received an offer of employment that would start this Monday (tomorrow). I have transportation, but no gas to get to work for the week. I'm inquiring as to any possible entities that could help me make it though this situation so I dont lose this job.
