Hello, I have a Timneh African Grey, Timneh African Greys are smaller than Congo African greys.I’m rehoming her because I feel like I can’t give her the time and the things she needs. She isn’t hand tame at all, however she does seem to be bonded to my daughter as she only gets closer with her and sometimes, on her terms, gets on her hand. She has been in a bad home before, where she would be mistreated with a stick. It took her a while to adjust to my family and I, she used to start of screaming whenever we got near her, however she doesn’t mind our hands near her cage or inside anymore. She does warm up to you, I think mostly girls. She is very quiet for a medium sized parrot and has some pleasant whistles, not bad and loud, but if she does feel threatened when you get close to her, she does have a loud whistle and will let you know that she doesn’t like that. She likes getting out her cage, likes apples and millet. I cant get her into the right diet, so please if you’re interested have experience with these types of birds!
