Us: After years of general playing and musical experience (jam, gigs), switched up instrument and genres and now developing, jazz standards, R&B. Older professional guys with energy. Bass, drums, sax. Studio in Fallbrook and sometimes Oceanside. 2x a month sessions. We call it a developing WIP band. Just starting out. Realbook material. Need chordal instruments like rhythm guitar and keys. You: What we would call advanced beginner to lower intermediate in those genres. Advanced need not apply. You're too good. Great plus if you read. Be open to genres. Willing to go to those locations without excuses. A plus if you can play lead parts to jazz standards and some R&B. Has the books.
