Description
***Last seen Oaks of North Brook, 7427 N Marsh Avenue 64158, cross street 74th Terr and N Marsh just a few blocks from the pool at 76th and N Donnelly. Black, buff and white cat, has a lion cut that is growing out and a buff “beauty mark” on her right cheek by her nose. My heart is breaking right now. My indoor calico cat, Lilo, escaped outside without detection last night (7/13) and was not realized for several hours she was gone, until I had no attention from her at all during bedtime. Spent the night off and on looking for her, had a 3 hour nap at 8:30am, and was back checking for her off and on through the afternoon and evening. My son went out at full dark to see if he could find her but with no luck. Please say a prayer for my sweet kitty. She means the world to me. I’m barely hanging in there right now. July 15 - Lilo’s been gone now for 48 hrs. Already posted notice on Next Door and registered description and pics with KC Pet Project for the ones picked up by animal control. Food and water outside. Garage door cracked open and cat bed out there. Son out scouring the neighborhood on foot and by car. Calling to her outside several times a day. Hoping and praying a critter doesn’t get her or one of the many copperheads we tend to have. Wooded green space behind our house where she might have gone but no response. still hoping and praying she’s just out on a big adventure and will come home when she’s done. Then it’ll be off to the vet for a checkup. Please call if you have seen her or have her. . I would be very happy and appreciative!! July 16 - still no sign of her despite the litter box being by the garage, garage cracked, food out, and a tshirt with mine and her scent on it setting out. Thought she came back last night only to find out it was a half-grown raccoon stealing the food I put out for her. Shooed it off three times, the little bugger, and brought the food inside for the night. Back out first thing in the morning. Still hoping she’ll just show up. Hoping someone in the neighborhood will find her and care for her until I can get her. (My husband is disabled and I am temporarily disabled having hip replacements, the last a few weeks ago, so getting out and hunting for both of us is difficult. If you find her and cannot catch her at least let me know so I can look for her. The number is above. Thank you to everyone keeping an eye out for her!!
