We are in the food business and deliver Boars Head refrigerated products to grocery stores and small business owners. You will be driving one of our company box trucks after training. This customer-facing position requires the ability to work in a team environment with varying positions and personalities.
Necessary: Valid Driver's license with a Good driving record. Three tickets in three years makes applicants not insurable. We are required to verify your driving history for insurance purposes. Ability to learn to drive a 20 foot box truck. Your schedule will be Sunday through Thursday. After training the hours are roughly 4:00-4:30 am - 1:00pm.
Physical abilities: We load and unload our product daily, averaging 20-25 lbs. Ability to multitask, problem solve and work with varying personalities. Attention to detail is necessary! We are seeking a Team player with a positive attitude and also the ability to work hard physically and in some adverse conditions.
Computer skills: Ability to work with and understand internal software system after training.
Applicant must be professional, responsible and committed to a work schedule that includes early mornings with a slightly varying schedule. The average work day is 8 hours. The starting schedule is Sunday - Thursday. No CDL or special driving background necessary.
