Have you heard of Uvalde Tx? An officer encountered the shooter before he even entered the building and did nothing. The first police entered the hallway 3 minutes after the shooter. As the hallway FILLED with police, they stood doing nothing for over 70 minutes while they listened to the shooter murdering children and STILL did nothing. FINALLY, a border patrol agent, NOT the police, killed the shooter. Tell me more about arming schools. Let me see. We have armed guards to protect our money in the banks. We have armed guards to protect our politicians. We have armed guards to protect our government buildings. We have armed guards to protect our military bases. We even have armed guards to protect the fish and wildlife. But we bestow the designation of "Gun Free" on our most important asset. Our Children. What sense does that make?
