Need help with car

if you’re a student or just enjoy fixing cars and know what your doing I need help! I don’t have much at the moment to pay an auto shop. • Car will not shift gears. Stays between 1and 2. • sounds really loud the higher you accelerate. Never had this problem before. I think it needs transmission fluid and that type of stuff replaced. I don’t have the tools to drain it myself. I wouldn’t drive the car anywhere right now. I’m by university city area.
