Description
Hi everybody- my fiancé and I have a flock of 8 backyard hens (1 two-year-old RIR; 7 1-year-olds: 2 Ameraucanas, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Black Copper Maran, 1 Welsummer, 1 cream Legbar) and they are looking for a new flock! We are moving and would really like this group to stay together. We raised the 7 “chicks”/younger hens and adopted the RIR. All are very sweet girls and great egg-layers. We typically let them roam the backyard a few times per week and they usually follow us around in the yard and a few like to be picked up. We get a variation of blue, tan, dark brown, and pink eggs, and usually 5-6 eggs per week. They are all different in feather color (we have one black ameraucana named “Blue” and one gray ameraucana named “Stella”; one lighter Easter egger named “Olive” and one darker brown Easter egger named “Bugzy”). Happy to send pictures of all of them, just really hoping they could stay together and go to a loving family & new flock. We have two 50-lb bags of their food you could use to wean them off / onto whatever feed you prefer. We are asking $200 OBO for all 8 hens and their two bags of food (food is $40/bag from Chewy). Please reach out if interested. Located in University Hills neighborhood in Denver. Just off Hampden and CO Blvd.
