Job Description Interior Illusions is seeking a skilled mover that has extensive experience working at a furniture or staging company. The ideal candidate will handle each and every piece of furniture with care, be highly motivated, and ready to work alongside their teammates. This person is familiar with prepping staging materials for transport and keeping our warehouse organized. Managing inventory of furniture, staging supplies and tools. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and being a team player is essential. Must be very experienced driving large vehicles and has a strong sense of urgency. REQUIREMENTS: * 2+ Years of experience in moving furniture * Valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record * Ability to drive 26' box truck * Self Motivated * Experience in furniture handling & packing- a proven track record of handling delicate items and protecting expensive furniture from damages * Detail oriented * Takes direction * Reliable and dependable * Team player * Punctual * Excellent communicator * Positive attitude * Knowledge of furniture types/ Able to identify and classify furniture pieces MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Driving a 26' box truck or van and trailer * Moving furniture daily * Staging * Heavy lifting (must be able to lift 50lbs) * Organizing the warehouse and taking inventory * Packing and unpacking staging materials * Furniture pickup and delivery to jobsites * Assembly of furniture and placement * Preventing damage to furniture by wrapping items correctly * Preventing damages to homes by properly lifting and moving furniture * Hanging art * Ensuring cleanliness * Trash hauling Results: * Warehouse clean and organized * Furniture transported safely and not damaged * Homes staged/ clean according to direction * Creating beautiful living spaces * Attention to detail * Vehicles maintained and handled with care * Materials verified and expedited to jobsites Job Type: FULL-time
