Artist needs help setting up and tearing down booth at the Bellevue Art Museum Art Festival, Thursday July 28th and Sunday evening July 31.
I am showing artwork at the upcoming show, I have a tent and backdrops, and I can set it up and tear down by myself if I have enough time, thing is, it goes much faster with 2 people. Normally I like to setup the day before a show, taking my time and not rushing. This show, due to the mechanics of getting all of the artists in and out, we can't start setting up until 6:30 pm the evening before. Despite my best attempts at both persuasion, and bribing with chocolate, can't do it any earlier. I understand that Bellevue has both a) great software, and b) great coffee, so this is still workable.
So, I need some help!
I am thinking about 4 hours Thursday, starting about 6:30 pm (makes for a late night, ugh!), and then again Sunday starting about 5:30 pm. I can pay $25 an hour, and will guarantee a minimum of 4 hours each day, if it takes less, great, still be 4 hours on the clock (assuming you show, work, and are not under the influence, just sayin').
Setup usually take about 4 to 4-1/2 hours, teardown and packing about 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
So, drop me a line, tell me a bit about yourself, if you’ve done this before, know what a trimline tent is, and we can go from there. I may be slow to answer an email, as I am doing a show in Ann Arbor, MI.
