Join Southern Tier Brewery and the Downtown Cleveland Alliance City Advocates for a beer tasting event! With a $30 ticket you’ll enjoy a flight of 5 beers (5 oz. each), an educational session about the beers you will be drinking and one entry into our raffle all while supporting the City Advocates Mural Project that will enhance the pedestrian experience in Downtown Cleveland. In addition, the City Advocates will be holding a raffle for merch and gift cards from downtown establishments. The event will start at 6:00 pm, so come early to get food and settle in. Thursday is also Burger Night at Southern Tier. Enjoy a burger for only $5.00! Paid parking is available at the lot next to Southern Tier or free street parking is available after 6:00 p.m. A portion of all proceeds will go to DCA's City Advocates Mural Project. The City Advocates Young Professionals Board is comprised of diverse individuals who share a passion for Downtown Cleveland and who represent a wide array of interests, professional backgrounds, and relationships to Downtown. While supporting the mission of the Alliance and Downtown’s growth as a modern and dynamic city, the City Advocates champion Downtown Cleveland through social and networking events, volunteer experiences, fundraising, event implementation and placemaking projects. In 2020, the City Advocates helped to bring the first playground to Downtown Cleveland, located in the North Coast Harbor. Currently the City Advocates are raising funds to have a local artist paint a mural that will contribute to the beautification of our diverse urban neighborhood.
