FriendCon is a 3-day community event dedicated to playing board games and tabletop games. It will go from 10am-10pm (depending on games being played) on Thursday-Saturday September 1st - 3rd. There will be plenty of different games to play, and there will be volunteers able to teach games as well. We’ll have a system to schedule different games to be played if you’re looking for players, or if there’s any role-playing games coming up you can hop into. Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation to help the Woodfords Club support more of these events. There will also be some cool FriendCon swag that you can purchase at the event. This is an 18+ event, but Saturday 12 - 4pm will be a Kid's Corner event where all ages are welcome to come and play games. Wanna chat with other gaming friends? Do I need to know how to play games? This convention is for people of all skill levels! We'll be happy to teach you how to play something. What kind of events are happening? This convention is mainly a casual pickup-and-play board game time, but we do have some scheduled role-playing games you can sign up for.
