Description
One year ago this month, the Akron Postcard Club hosted its first monthly meeting - to celebrate a year of exploring all that the world of postcards has to offer, we're hosting a free BINGO Night (with our own special spin, of course)! Whether you're a seasoned Akron Postcard Club attendee or a first-timer, come out and join us for a free hour of fun and prizes as we incorporate Real Photo Postcards from the early 20th century into the classic game of BINGO. Will you be crowned the ultimate Postcard Champion?! You need to play to win! [What are Real Photo Postcards you ask? They are photographs that were printed directly onto photograph paper that matched the size and weight of a postcard and featured a postcard backing. By definition, they are unique (i.e., not mass produced) and, as a result, offer some amazing views of people, places, and events from days gone by.] Health & SafetyVisit our health and safety page for up-to-date information on the Cummings Center's safety protocols: https://uakron.edu/chp/museum/covid-19-precautions Please stay home if you do not feel well, have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.
