Yes, you know how to ride a bike, but would you like to feel more confident doing so? Do you know how to maneuver in the space shared by drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists? Do you know how and when to shift to give you maximum ability to climb hills? How about just feeling more confident about your biking skills?
If any of those apply, then this is the class for you. It's not a "learn to ride", it's a "learn to ride more confidently" in suburban and city spaces.
League Certified Instructors will work with you in a small class setting to develop your bike handling skills. Next we will develop strategies for placement on the road or path so that you will gain confidence in making those transitions. Finally, we will finish with a short 2 - 4 mile bike ride to practice those new skills.
To participate in this class you must bring a helmet and a bike that fits you and is in good working condition.
