Description

This event is brought to you by Makersville Services (a 501c3) through grant funding and contributions of: Makersville, the Arts Council of Long Beach and the City of Long Beach. STEAM teachers, student teachers, artists, guides, makerspace leaders and coaches will share their S.T.E.A.M. projects and we will work on how Makersville Services can support developing your STEAM projects, and/or bringing STEAM projects of your design to your classroom. Makersville Services is preparing for its next cohort of and will be working to identify the projects we support through grant-writing and fiscal agency in 2022-2023. S.T.E.A.M. education is the most inclusive form of education. It's not easy, but some teachers are implementing S.T.E.A.M. in the formal classrooms, and in the informal classrooms. There are many challenges to implementing S.T.E.A.M. education, particularly in full classes of students! One of our scheduled instructors will share their projects. 2022 Schedule Our monthly meeting is scheduled for the 3rd Saturday. At the 2:00 PM to 4:PM session, Squigglemom, Trish Tsoiasue will host a Teacher Share, where you can present your projects to the group and/or your school or makerspace community that we might support.
