In the event of rain, we will be moving the show inside, which will require proof of vaccination, so please come prepared. We will let you know via email if we plan to move the show. So sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for remaining flexible in these difficult to predict times!---------------------- About the BandFB | INST | BNDCMP | .COM The Black Excellence Band is a collective of independent artists, songwriters and musicians who often come together to perform as a group. Based in Oakland, CA the band has performed at events such as The Art and Soul Festival in Oakland, The Spirit & Soul Festival in Richmond, The Contra Costa County Fair in Antioch as well as a host of other local venues and festivals. The Black Excellence Band completed their first 30-date tour titled It’s A Boy (2018) which was in recognition of CLEAN’s (lead emcee) soon to be arriving son. Notable shows include, the Taste of Oakland Festival, the So Oakland Day Festival and the National Night Out event in Oakland. They are currently on their 2019 tour The Tipping Point and will be playing at events such as, The Bay Area Book Festival, The Oakland VegFest, The San Mateo County Fair, The Santa Cruz Juneteenth Festival, SF Street Food Festival, The Santa Cruz Music Festival and more.
