Description

Join us for an enticing mid-day history lesson on Thursday, August 18th, from 12-1 pm! Learn all about Gulf Coast Bird Observatory and how they impact the natural world through their conservation projects and programs. From the upper Texas coast through Latin America, GCBO has become a leading organization working to save birds and their habitats over the last 26 years. Birds are an excellent keystone species, showing us how the environment is really doing. A bird rich and diverse habitat is normally a healthy one, giving us clues as to the overall health of that environment. Admission is $10. Add on a box lunch for $12, or you are welcome to bring your own. All lunch orders must be placed by the Tuesday before the event.
