Cally D’Angelo - Vice President, Member Services, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Cally D'Angelo serves as the Vice President of Member Services at the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, which is a 2,200-member organization in metro Atlanta. Prior to her current role, Cally also served as the Gwinnett Chamber’s Senior Director, Membership Services & Small Business Initiatives, Director of Programs & Events, Senior Manager of Programs and Events and started as a Programs and Events Manager. Before relocating to metro Atlanta to assume a role at the Gwinnett Chamber, Cally has also worked as a Small Business & Events Manager at Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah; Visitor Counselor at Tybee Island Tourism Council; and Tourism & Business Development Coordinator at Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center. Sheetal R.Desai, Esq. - Managing Partner at The Trusted Lawyers, a Desai Law Group, PC, US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Southeast Regional Chapter Board President Sheetal Desai is an accomplished attorney and partner at The Trusted Lawyers, a Desai Law Group, PC. Her areas of practice include commercial transactions, real estate, corporate law and commercial litigation. A product of the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin, Sheetal began her professional career in Chicago. Two years later, she married Ritesh ("Rick") Desai and moved to the Atlanta area where she has been practicing law ever since. Sheetal Desai has worked closely with many business and community leaders through her service as a public relations lead for BAPS Atlanta. She is the current President of the Southeast Chapter of the US Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC-SE). Sheetal has held various leadership position such as an advisory board member for United Way – Gwinnett and a member of the Community Outreach Board for Gwinnett County. Mrs. Desai has also volunteered her legal services for such causes as Asian Pacific American Council (APAC) and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). Sheetal and her husband are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters. She enjoys cooking, exploring local and state parks, traveling and spending time with her family. Glenn Kruse - Area Director, University of Georgia Small Business Development Center Gwinnett Campus As Area Director for the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, Glenn assists entrepreneurs looking to grow and excel in their small businesses reach their potential. He works with his colleagues in the Gwinnett Center to ensure they successfully meet their objectives and fulfill the mission of Helping Georgia Businesses Grow. Glenn's experience working for large corporations and small business start-ups has made him an expert in several operational areas such as program management, sales and marketing management, strategic planning/consulting and executive leadership. The majority of his experience is in new and emerging technologies focused on various markets including hospitality, utilities, telecommunications, law enforcement, education, IT and engineering services. Henry Wright - Client Experience Officer, Truist Insurance Holdings Henry Wright is the Client Experience Officer for Truist Insurance Holdings. In this role, Wright oversees the strategy, planning and execution of the company’s overall client experience goals. He partners with other members of the Insurance Holdings senior leadership team and the individual businesses to execute the organization’s value proposition and deepen client engagement. He also provides strategic thought leadership on matters of diversity, equity and inclusion and supports the company’s work to attract diverse talent to the industry and provide teammates with an industry-leading inclusive workplace environment. Having worked in the insurance industry since 1995, Wright joined Truist predecessor BB&T in 2009 and was previously a senior leader responsible for directing and delivering risk solutions for McGriff. Prior to that, he was Vice President & Risk Assessment Manager at Wachovia, Managing Partner at Enercorp Consulting and a Regional Field Operations Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Wright earned his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Alabama, completed a Graduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Studies at Indiana University, an MBA in Finance from Strayer University and completed graduate studies in Design Thinking at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also earned a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and a Customer Experience Certification from George Washington University. He is a member of the Risk & Insurance Management Society and the board of directors of MBT, Ltd. He also serves on the Advisory Council of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB), is the Claims and Risk Management Working Group Chair for CIAB, a member of both the University of Richmond and George Washington University’s Customer Experience Advisory Council and the Advisory Board for Occupational] Safety & Health Magazine. This program is sponsored by the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP). The CNPP program is an initiative funded through President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, to strengthen SBA support for small business and underserved business by connecting them to national, state, and local resources. The USPAACC-SE serves as one of 15 nationwide spokes under USPAACC to assist in this initiative. The Trusted Lawyers a Desai Law Group, P.C. also serves as one of 15 spokes. The CNPP program was designed to help small busi­ness­es, with a focus on those owned by vet­er­ans, women, and social­ly and eco­nom­i­cal­ly dis­ad­van­taged indi­vid­u­als — includ­ing in rur­al and urban com­mu­ni­ties that had been hit the hard­est by the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic and severe eco­nom­ic impacts.
