Each week we will focus on the basic elements of a yoga practice like breath and mindfulness, anatomy and alignment, and how to best adapt the practice to your specific level and abilities. Throughout the workshops you will be invited to ask questions so that you can get to know your practice and yourself better.
$35 Per Person Per week
The Basics:
Week 1 - will focus on breath work, a general overview of anatomy in some of the most common poses, and how to support yourself using props like blocks, straps, and blankets.
Root & Radiate: Standing postures
In week 2 - we will introduce a series of standing poses that are commonly seen across different types of yoga classes. We will explore how to allow your body to feel stronger, more flexible, and balanced.
Intro to Flow and Restore:
Week 3 - will be an exploration of yoga flow and restorative postures. We will dive into the space between the static poses that creates a more dynamic practice, integrating breath and mindfulness through a series of standing and seated postures. We will finish with a sweet introduction to Yin and Restorative Yoga. These grounding, meditative practices will invite you to go deeper within yourself.
