My Names is Heather R. I grew up in a Caribbean household, surrounded by family members who can cook their butts off, and my father is no stranger to the kitchen. My father loves to cook from chicken curry to oxtail with rice and peas; my dad was on it. That's where I got my creative gene. I didn't start my baking journey until my mid-20s. I would make cakes for friends and family for special occasions, and they loved it. When COVID hit spring of 2020, I worked at a cosmetic store inside the airport. It closed temporarily due to high covid outbreaks. From April to November 2020, I had a lot of time on my hands, so I decided I would take on baking for the time being to create something that was a hobby for me into a full-blown baking production. In November 2020. my job decided to let me go permanently. At that point, I had only two choices, get another tedious cosmetic job or turn my baking hobby into a profitable business; I haven't seen Ruby Woo lipstick since. The Tipsy Baker brand was built on the support, love, and encouragement my friends and family poured into me and blossomed into what we see today, and we are still growing and expanding.
