A beautiful Border Collie/Aussie

One lovely dog, almost four months old. He has already learned basic commands. He’s 3/4 Collie and 1/4 Australian Shephard. We adopted 3 of the sibling pups in May but can keep only one of them. This dog is smart, chill, undemanding, helpful and healthy - not to mention beautiful. We wish we could keep him. He knows basic commands, and picks up on new skills amazingly quickly. He knows to walk a bit behind us, and does not pull at the leash at all. He has been fed organic kibble and cooked meats and been supplemented with herbs. His bark is hearty, not yippy. He is quiet almost all the time, but will let you know when someone is approaching, and settles down quickly again. We didn't keep them inside so he is not yet house trained. Since they are now not even four months old it's a perfect time to train them for that. We have dubbed him "Stoic" because he doesn't seem to mind anything, can sit around waiting, moves deliberately and is "easy", likes to interact, esp have his belly rubbed, take hikes, and also to be left alone to lounge in the sun. He has been living among rabbits and helps to catch any who get out, trapping the bunny with his paws, but not hurting them. Given a marrow bone he is happy to sit around chewing for hours. We would appreciate any contribution, however it's more important to us that this lovely animal finds his best forever home. (I notice I didn't get a pic of him standing - he's well formed with a nice long tail that has a white tip.)
