Commune and ground in with nature before entering the restorative realms of sound and vibration with Awaken Spanda.
The College of Charleston at Stono Preserve is a majestic 981-acre property along the Stono River and the Intercoastal Waterway. The myriad ecosystems include long-leaf pine forests, wetlands, savannahs, tidal marshes, as well as brackish, saltwater and fresh-water ponds.
If you ever wanted to explore Charleston's natural habitat the Stono Preserve provides all you could ask for and more! Our evening nature walk will take us on an explorative journey around the grounds guided by Mikayla Milford, the garden public liason. Bringing us into communion with nature, before leading us to an indoor sound meditation with gongs, crystal singing bowls, himalayan singing bowls, chimes, bells, monolini, and drum led by Arlyn Ruddy of Awaken Spanda and accompanied by Brendon "Moochie" Overstreet on native flute.
We will move into a smoothly formulated vibrational experience that will leave you balanced and refreshed in body, mind, and spirit. Reset and ready to take on the next steps in your waking reality.
There are only 15 spots open to NON students.
*This is a great opportunity to experience this breathtaking Preserve if you are not a college student, so take full advantage of this wonderful offering to see Charleston in its full natural light.
PLEASE NOTE*
You will be experiencing the sound meditation lying down so please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye cover, or anything that will make you comfortable.
Also dress comfortable, wear shoes to walk in, and a bottle of water.
See you there Family!
