Click here to learn more. Here are the top three stories today in Birmingham: A 17-year-old is in critical condition after being shot on Avenue Y near the 2500 block of 15th Street Ensley. According to police, the shooting happened yesterday afternoon at an undetermined time. Police say that the teen was shot while walking down the street. The teen was taken to UAB Hospital where as of Wednesday evening he is receiving treatment. (WBRC)Don't have any weekend plans? Now you do!
