I have a flowering quince bush and this year it started bearing fruit! This bush was supposedly removed when we bought the house in 2016. It’s came back to life and flowered beautifully in the spring. We decided to keep it and trim it so it doesn’t take over. Now we have fruit! The fruit is used for jellies and preserves.
