C&S Wholesale Grocers Inventory Control FULL-TIME $20/hr 2503 Northwest Sundial Road, Troutdale, OR 97060 Total Wage Compensation starts at $20 per hour with a.50 increase every 6 months. Inventory Control Clerk duties will include but are not limited to: * Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE). Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE). Ability to operate battery hoist. Compliance with all company policies and procedures. * Conduct accurate cycle count of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as required. *Validate dating of product in the warehouse and update as required. *Audit and Correct inbound receiving paperwork and perform audits of SOP's as required by Supervisor. *Respond to buyer requests for item checks in the warehouse. *Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse. *Validate product to be delivered to customers as part of process to measure outbound loading accuracy. You will also assist in maintaining an acceptable error rate on orders shipped according to company guidelines. *Submit daily audit results to the appropriate team member(s) at the end of each shift. *Effectively partner cross-functionally to achieve business results. *Enter purchase order receipts into computer system and print receiving tags for use by receivers. *Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for delivery of materials. *Confirm and correspond with customers, vendors and others to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications. *Greet incoming outside truck drivers and direct to proper unloading bay. *Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs and willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs. *Perform other job-related duties as assigned. *You will work in a variety of temperature environments, including freezer and refrigerated locations with temperatures as low as -20 degrees!
