Hello, fellow musicians! I am a keyboardist in my mid-30s who was a full-time musician for over a decade while living in NC and FL, and I have recently moved back to my home town of Ithaca, NY. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for musically, but I figured I'd put something out there and see what comes of it. You can check out my website at http://bryanlewisonline.com for music, videos, pictures, etc. or if you'd prefer bullet points, here are some of those: -averaged 200+ shows a year while performing full-time -my original bands have been direct support for Snarky Puppy, G. Love and Special Sauce, The Motet, TAUK, Cory Henry, Bernie Worrell, Kool Keith, and more -I've separately and simultaneously been a performer, producer, teacher, composer, and arranger -released several albums with different original bands and artists, which have been streamed by some and sold to at least a few of our parents -influences include Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Neal Evans, Joey DeFrancesco, and Jordan Rudess -musical interests are extremely varied, but include jazz, hip hop, funk, rock, and progressive (having said that, I'm respectfully not interested in a band that says "hey man, wanna try a jam in E?!") -familiar with all sorts of venues and setups, including bars, clubs, festivals, theaters, restaurants, weddings, corporate events, retirement homes, etc. -can sight read most music, including full sheet music, chord charts, and lead sheets -pro gear (Nord/Roland keyboards, Motion Sound amp, in-ears) -pretty awesome at playing left hand bass on keys -barely passable on a real bass, slightly less passable on drums -not a singer in any professional setting If you're still reading this and think we might be a good fit musically, hit me up!
