I am conducting a research study about the food parenting practices of Black immigrant mothers living in Metro Atlanta, Georgia.  I am looking for mothers who are: Black, African, or Afro- Carribean and immigrant in the United States, have a child between the age of 2 and 19 and is their primary caregiver, older than 18 years old, fluent in English, and reside in Metro Atlanta, GA. This study involves a 10 minute survey and a 90-minute focus group. The focus group will take place online, or at a local church. In- person focus group participants will receive a meal, and virtual focus group participant will receive a $10 E-gift card as compensation for their time and their involvement.
