Qualified participants will receive compensation for their time and travel. There is no cost to participate and health insurance is not required.
Bullous pemphigoid is characterized by these symptoms:
- Itching skin (weeks to months before blisters form)
- Large blisters that don’t easily rupture when touched, usually along the skin that is often flexed
- Skin around blisters may be normal, reddish, or darker than usual
- Eczema or hive-like skin rash
- Small blisters or sores in the mouth
