JOB DESCRIPTION – Not Inclusive • Reports directly to Area Lead, Shop Manager, and other management personnel. • Learns and uses safety procedures, uses safety tools such as safety glasses, gloves, and other safety items as indicated for the work being performed • Sets up and controls operation of hand and electric deburring tools, and machines, to perform series of deburring operations, such as hand and machine sanding, tumble deburring • Reads, job order, and tooling instructions to determine the deburring requirement from the sequence of operations • Selects, adjusts, and changes the quantity and/or type of deburring of media as well as cleaners such as water and/or soap, drying media, to ensure deburring meets company and drawing specifications and as instructed • Loads and unloads deburring and drying media from tumble deburring machines. • Inspects deburred parts to ensure conformance to quality specifications, by touch, as well as visually • Notifies area lead or management/quality personnel when corrective action is required • Performs other duties as requested by area lead and/or management • Cross-trains and supports other areas as requested This is a Job Shop with VERY FAST PACED production.
