Garden Farms of Oregon is a landscaping company in Lane County helping our community utilize their landscapes to grow more food. We are a growing family-owned business, installing and maintaining edible & ornamental garden spaces for homeowners, businesses, organizations, and more in Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding areas. We are looking for the right person to join our crew and continue to grow with us. Position: Edible Garden Installer & Landscape Maintenance Tech: part-time to full-time depending on season. Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Weeding, pruning, and general landscape maintenance; Garden bed production, installation, and repair; Soil/compost/mulch installation, delivery, and/or removal as needed; Irrigation installation, repairs, timing, and trouble-shooting; Fruit tree and perennial edible plant installation, maintenance, and/or removal as needed; Garden planting, harvesting, and maintenance; Maintaining amazing customer service with clients, both in-­person and via phone/email; Communicating promptly regarding supply needs and unexpected garden issues; Representing Garden Farms of Oregon in a friendly and professional manner. Qualifications: Experience with landscape maintenance, typical landscape tools and landscape installations required; Experience with woodworking and general shop tools preferred; Experience with crop and/or vegetable cultivation preferred; Experience with irrigation preferred; Related education in horticulture, crop science, perennial crop cultivation, etc. a plus; Ability to lift, bend, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods as determined by job and job site; Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently; Friendly and clear communicator; Organizational skills and attention to detail a must; Valid OR driver’s license, vehicle, clean driving record, and ability to drive work truck as needed.
