Seeking Acoustic musicians

Greetings folks: I am an upright bassist, vocalist and songwriter looking to collaborate with acoustic players (mostly) who have an interest in playing FUNK/SOUL/R&B. I take inspiration from groups like Cassandra Wilson, Raphael Saddiq, Bill Withers, Steely Dan, Isley Brothers, even John Martyn/Danny Thompson collaborations. And many more. My originals tend to lean this way: jazz chords, soulful vox and room to play solos that favor the blues scale. I feel that this is a concept that has some legs because although, there are funk and soul bands, not many play acoustically, and most acoustic groups that I am aware of tend to be more on the alt-country end of the spectrum. I am seeking at least one guitarist who is maybe inspired by Nile Rogers, Jimmy Nolen, Tony Maiden, Al McKay, Keb' Mo, and possibly another guitarist who might play slide or tasty riffs --or maybe this is just one person Also seeking a percussion-savant(s)--congas, bongos, cabassa, tambourine, shaker, claves, cajon, shit-tar (Wood Brothers) or maybe just a small jazz kit. And maybe a multi-instrumentalist (keys, horn, flute, vocals, guitar, bass, etc.) I am 45, and a teacher. I have been playing upright since 2000 and guitar since 1990.
