First: Please don't respond if you just want to bounce text messages back and forth for two weeks then disappear. I'm looking for a vocalist and 2nd guitar (lead or rhythm) to collaborate on original, heavy, guitar driven material. It can be dark, it can be industrial (no djent or "nu-metal", not my thing), whatever as long as everyone contributes and the end result feels good. What I'm not looking for are people with the exact same tastes/influences or people that just want to emulate their influences. If you have "tons of material" that's cool, but bring along the ability to share it and accept input from the others to take it from "your material" to "our material". So bring your glam, goth, death metal, hair metal, punk, delta blues, or whatever influences lead you on. I am a guitarist and influenced mostly by 80's metal and industrial. Examples would be (but far from limited to) Ministry, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Nine Inch Nails, Behemoth, Syatic X, Obituary, Skinny Puppy, WASP, Rammstein, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Godflesh. I own professional, quality gear. I have gigged extensively, toured from coast to coast, and held endorsements in the past. I'm not looking for a garage band or to play out every few months for free beer or friends and family. I have a steady career as well so I'm not looking to go back out on the road for weeks/months at a time either (unless of course the Universe aligns perfectly and we happen to strike creative gold).
