We are an independent service provider for FedEx Ground. Our team is responsible for delivering and picking up FedEx Ground packages throughout the Houston area. We are currently hiring full time drivers at the Webster location to service Deer Park and Pasadena areas. The work days available are Monday - Sunday 8-5pm.
Pay is $750-$900/per week depending on route size and whether working 5 or 6 days.
This job is physically and mentally demanding, fast paced and requires integrity, organization and high energy. Drivers must be safe, organized, show up to work daily, possess excellent customer service skills, be professional, detail-oriented, a team player and enjoy driving and delivering. Training is provided.
Minimum Requirements: Class C driver's license. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check, pass a drug screening test and DOT physical exam and have one year experience driving a 16 foot box truck (minimum) or larger or other commercial truck vehicle. Driver must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to complete daily deliveries and pickups and be able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs up and down stairs.
Experience Needed: One verifiable year of commercial driving experience within the past three years; five years verifiable commercial driving experience within the past ten years. Or, a successful completion of a vendor driving school plus six months verifiable commercial driving experience within the previous three years. NO CDL needed.
