Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST. IT A LITTLE LENGTHY AND DETAILED. IT HAS ITS REASON AS YOU READ ON, Bass player seeking to START not JOIN existing project or band. I am wanting to start a heavy sludgy/fuzzed out/psychedelic doom blues band. I will also be incorporating Turkish,Sufi and Moroccan music in to it. Also the music will be played in C standard..or a drop C tuning. I am needing a guitarist who can also..that will be a plus(clean vocals). If not a singer can be sought. Guitarist must have knowledge of blues progressions. Drummer..I want someone who is very animated behind the kit. As the music will have a psychedelic feel to it…so there will be times it will be very busy. I’m not wanting a show off.. The drumming style I’m look for is the late 60’s early 70’s I need a strong drummer for me as well. I’m very busy on the bass. I play in the manner of GEEZER BUTLER,Al CISNEROS,JOHN PAUL JONES and JACK BRUCE(the Cream years) Keyboardist/samples..seeing don’t own any instruments from the Middle East. The keyboards need to emulate the instruments that are needed and required. The keyboardist will also noise/ambient and percussions The band will have a theme/format/symbolism that is tied into the occult. I plan to also add visuals as well to play alongside the music. This is another aspect of the psychedelic aspect of the band. Also I may add a female vocalist for additional layering of the music The music will be very loud. And songs will be up to 10 to 20 minutes long. For example some songs will a have jam session worked into the song(this will only be for live shows). Each member will have have an opportunity to help create the music. There will not a sole songwriter. I’m wanting to totally organic. I want the songs to be written as a band. You spent years and money perfecting your craft. You should have the freedom and open floor to putting your craft to work. So if this is something that has peaked your interest. Please reach out to me. We chat and if there a connection/messing we can move forward. Cheers.. Ain Elohim
