Prog leaning alt/power-pop/new wave trio seeks gigging bass player

Veteran Boston area prog leaning alt/power-pop trio seeks an ambitious, versatile, and flexible bass player to help out with live shows and possibly more. We play all originals in the vein of Rush meets The Police meets Genesis meets the Sex Pistols meets Killing Joke meets The Killers meets 30 Seconds to Mars. Strong resume of both successful recordings and live shows at venues like The Paradise, Brighton Music Hall, and The Middle East supporting major touring artists like Our Lady Peace, Electric Six, Corey Glover, He Is Legend, Le Butcherettes, and more. Optimal player would be 27-45 with ability to sing backups and perhaps be a multi-instrumentalist...But this is just a rough guide as we would be open to whoever has the chops/drive. If you can read charts and learn quickly, all the better. Create a sonic atmosphere with that bass and channel your inner Geddy, Sting, Mike Rutherford, and Chris Squire. Currently, we’re just looking for a helping hand that we can count on for shows, but the door is open for a more expanded role in the future. Let us know if you’re interested!
