Coming from Lansing. We are attempting to be closer to family. We are prepared to camp outdoors but need a place to do so. It would be temporary as we get settled with a job and we look for permanent housing. My time is almost up in Lansing and I'm not sure where to go seeing as I can't afford a campground. Looking to stay in and around the Higgins lake area. We are a mixed couple in late 20s with two baby's. One is 1..the other is 3months. We are very experienced campers who are clean and pick up after ourselves. If you can help or offer suggestions it would be most appreciated. Just fyi..we have applied to vouchers and the housing commission and are waiting to hear from them.
