Join us for an afternoon of fun at Southgate Roller Rink! No skating experience required! Just come have a good time with good people and great food! Dress as you please, but if you're looking for inspiration we put together a retro theme! All proceeds from the event will go to Surge Reproductive Justice . Surge is a nonprofit that mobilizes communities to build a world where all people can make powerful, self-determined choices for their bodies and the future of their families and communities. Their work centers Black women, women of color, and queer and trans people of color for a movement that rises from the bottom up. Their work focuses on education, advocacy, and providing resources and services directly to their target population. We are also excited to have food catered by That Brown Girl Cooks! There will also be a full bar. Drinks are not included in the ticket price. Your ticket includes a skate rental and food! This event is open to all ages but will include some adult music.
