We are inviting any dad who has taken the proud dad pledge to come out and fellowship with our community of active fathers. We are proud to partner with the Royal Oak Initiative (ROI) on this event. Chess is not only a fun game but also a great way to practice powerful life skills. The ROI is an organization that uses the wisdom of chess to protect, heal, and build community by cultivating collective wellness, mindfulness, and critical thinking. They encourage players to “be the peace” and not to leave without an L (lesson) There will be puzzle games available for dads whose kids are too young or uninterested in chess. We will also be giving away free COGO annual bike memberships and other merchandise for every dad who comes to the event. Save the date and meet us at the 4C, July 27.
