Band looking for a new drummer. We play almost everything: rock, pop, country, ska, reggae, funk, blues, ballads, and a touch of jazz here and there. Covers and originals, with wide-ranging influences: Santana to Rancid, Grateful Dead to Violent Femmes. Black Keys, Ramones, Iggy Pop, Gorillaz, Richard Thompson—you name it, we’ll play it! Currently, we have bass, lead guitar, and keys/rhythm guitar—all sing lead and back-ups. Seasoned ex-touring professionals, excellent musicians who now just want to play and have maximum fun. We play high-energy music at low-key clubs like the Honey Moon and the Fireside Martini Bar. Rarely, if ever, do we play more than two sets. In by 8, out by 10:30. We rehearse once or twice a month, and play once a month—sometimes twice if it’s a cool gig. Our rehearsal space/recording studio already has a very nice drum kit. We are mellow and laugh a lot, whether practicing or gigging. Some money, not much. No drama, only good vibes.
