14 th Annual Backpack Giveaway and Nonprofit Community Resource Fair Denver, CO- The Silva Family Foundation, CoAIMH and the Denver Latino Commission Present: The 14th Silva Family Foundation’s Annual Community School Supply Giveaway and is July 30th, 2022 at Denver Civic Center Park. This year, the foundation will distribute over 2000 backpacks full of needed school supplies. Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Silva have stood steadfast in their commitment to stand in the educational gap for Colorado’s youth for over 24 years. The Silva Family Foundation was created from the societal barriers and challenges that Rev. Dr. Silva endured as a homeless youth and a survivor of gun violence in Denver, Colorado. The Silva Family Foundation has given out over 24,000 backpacks of school supplies in 13 years. Details: July 30th, 2022 at 10AM-2PM The festival will take place at Denver Civic Center Park in Denver, Colorado, with the Denver Days 10th Annual Celebration. *Child(ren) must be present, (1) backpack per student, no max on household* The Silva Family Foundation would not be able to continue this great event without our partners.
