As a Groundskeeping Maintenance Assistant, Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Supervisor you will perform interior and exterior preventative repair maintenance including but not limited to general maintenance requests, HVAC a plus for maintenance techs a must for maintenance supervisors, have carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance installation, upkeep of grounds, curbs, walkways, pool area, front and back areas, trash collection and pick up of debris around the complex. Maintenance positions requirements: *Must be able to trouble shoot and have knowledge of when it is appropriate to contact outside vendors, example contact electrician or plumber for repairs beyond your scope. *Must have basic personal tools to complete task requirements, including but not limited to a hammer, screwdriver,drill,wrench, tape measure. (Only basic tools required). All basic tools must be taken home with you each day in your tool box or bag. * Must have the ability to install, repair, and/or complete the following items heating, cooling, appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryer’s, molding and caulking flooring, ceiling fans, blinds (Please do still apply if you only have some of these requirements as each community is different) *Clean up may be needed including removing bulk trash and inspection of common areas and storage rooms to ensure areas are clean and presentable. * Knowledge of “make ready”apartment’s with good time management and communication skills, as to complete unit turn over in a timely fashion. * Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check. * Must be punctual and responsible as this is a career, only serious minded individuals need apply.
