Join us for a bluegrass concert in the park with The Goat Hill Girls! This talented quintet will perform a fun-filled set of traditional bluegrass, vintage country, Irish music and original compositions. Bring your own blankets and chairs. No registration required. The Goat Hill Girls are comprised of Sonia Shell on banjo, Lee Anne Welch on fiddle, Kim Elking on mandolin, Linda Maki on guitar and Lisa Burns on acoustic bass. All native Californians, the Goat Hill Girls are named after a landmark in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. Although most bluegrass songs are about the mountainous regions of the East Coast, they are doing their part to represent California in the bluegrass canon by presenting the feeling of old-time California in their originals.
