If these shoes could talk is a symposium that touches situations in multiple areas: Drug (Substance) Abuse - Seeking Help, Getting clean and staying cleanSexual Abuse - Handling triggers and turning pain into purposeGrief - When the hurt wont stop hurtingIncarceration - Life beyond the bars. Incarcerated doesn't mean incapacitated Domestic Violence - Not another hit!Low Self-Esteem - Believing in yourself againMental Health - Feelings vs. FactsYou may not have experienced these situations. However, we all have a friend or a loved one that may be struggling in these areas! We invite you to come get strength for the journey. We invite you to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep! We invite you for a night of REAL talk where we can cry and laugh TOGETHER! If these shoes could talk is a forum to do just that! Invite a friend. There will be other activities such as vendors, giveaways and food.
