Which novelist wrote a manuscript entirely in crayon? Who typed all Tolstoy's books for him? If questions like these make your hand itch for a buzzer, you'll love the Bay Area Book Festival's first-ever Literary Pub Trivia night! Assemble your bookworm teams (six people max) and join us Tuesday, August 9, 7-10 pm, at the Ivy Room at 860 San Pablo Avenue in Albany, for a chance to showcase all your accrued literary knowledge the way it was meant to be shared: with drinks! (And the musical stylings of our DJ, who'll be spinning tunes featuring oh-so-subtle clues).
Our host for the evening is a trivia all-star: 40-time Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider, the most successful woman to ever compete on the show (she's also the first openly transgender contestant to qualify for Jeopardy!'s Tournament of Champions). She'll be serving up questions on everything lit-themed, from feuds to pen names to famous first lines. Prizes for the top-scoring three teams (plus the team with the best name)!
Tickets for this summer fundraising event are $25 per person and support the Bay Area Book Festival. Drinks are available for purchase, and you must be 21+ to play.
Reserve your spot...and let your inner literary lion roar!
Thank you to those who have donated prizes
