JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform landscape installation/maintenance in/around Sonoma County Work in and around various landscaping settings/ecosystems Delivery materials to job sites and transport utility trailers Plant Care: PROPER planting, amending, pruning, and diagnosing of plant health issues Water Systems/irrigation: Diagnose/troubleshooting irrigation problems/leaks, water timer scheduling, occasional construction of valve manifolds, drip systems, etc. Hardscaping: install patio’s, shade structures, dry stack rock walls, paths, trellis’, planters, etc. Earthwork: install swale systems, rain gardens, creek beds, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have valid CA Driver's License Enjoy working in a team setting Ability to problem solve Adaptable to different job demands Familiar with pulling trailers DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION: Familiar with local landscape material suppliers Knowledge/experience with Permaculture-based landscaping Familiar with California Native Plants Familiar with edible landscapes and sustainable agricultural systems Familiar with local BMP’s Knowledge/experience with rainwater, grey water, drip irrigation systems Familiar with Organic approach to Integrated Pest Management Bilingual (English/Spanish) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Digging/trenching on a regular basis Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
