A leading property management company has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician. We are seeking a self-motivated and a mechanically-inclined individual to join our team. Job Summary This position is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance activities in multiple buildings the east bay area and preparing vacant units and maintaining the common areas Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment Must have a solid understanding of plumbing, and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. Must be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include: Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation Check electrical and plumbing systems of building to ensure functionality Ensure health and safety policies are complied with Install appliances and equipment Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents Ability to efficiently attend to work orders, and report it in a mobile app. Qualifications/Requirements: Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Effective communication skills Property maintenance/handyman experience Compensation: $25 to $30 Hourly based on experience
