Description
The Assistant Project Manager is expected to have some experience in the construction industry
and fundamental knowledge of construction. Strong verbal communication skills are important.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing the jobsite to successfully pass all required inspections
Communicate with subcontractors, laborers, mechanics, etc., providing guidance
Collaborates with engineers, designers, and subcontractors
Visit multiple job sites a day
Help prepare detailed reports daily (i.e. daily logs)
Help prepare schedules
Help identify and source needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials)
Performs quality check on all sites after each phase
Requirements and Skills
Fundamental understanding of construction procedures
Ability to read plans
Integrity in upholding standards and practices on quality, health and safety
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, computer systems and software including Google Drive, Google
Docs, project management software
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Must be a team player
