The Assistant Project Manager is expected to have some experience in the construction industry and fundamental knowledge of construction. Strong verbal communication skills are important. Responsibilities  Assist in preparing the jobsite to successfully pass all required inspections  Communicate with subcontractors, laborers, mechanics, etc., providing guidance  Collaborates with engineers, designers, and subcontractors  Visit multiple job sites a day  Help prepare detailed reports daily (i.e. daily logs)  Help prepare schedules  Help identify and source needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials)  Performs quality check on all sites after each phase Requirements and Skills  Fundamental understanding of construction procedures  Ability to read plans  Integrity in upholding standards and practices on quality, health and safety  Knowledge of, or ability to learn, computer systems and software including Google Drive, Google Docs, project management software  Strong communication skills  Excellent organizational and time-management skills  Must be a team player
